And the sun shone in, warming up the already baked stones
And, I still remember the way your hair fell into your eyes
How you would smile while jumping from this topic to that
Never staying with one thing more than a few moments
Never would you waste your precious time
So, I sat, entranced.. enrapture
Listening to the litany of your voice
How the words would pour forth with no dam
And you spoke of verse, and I would write
But, always I would remember how you were a black hole
How you took all giving nothing back
You drained me wholly
For your own purposes
And, I remember you'd laugh
and Laugh... because nothing could touch you
Not a word you said was true..
Though, I laugh, because,
I didn't know it at the time
Always, I saw you the the most holy of lights
But, you never were what I thought you were
Though, is anyone?
So, I'd come to write many ballads after you,
Beautiful Girl...
Haunting Girl...
So much to me,
As a black hole would be...
