With my tears red,
my blood clear.

My heart is dying,
my mind is blank

With one image,
still in my mind.

My hand is empty,
skin cold with death.

With one last breath,
I whispered a name.

My eyes on the dark sky,
cursing the heavens.

With one last wish,
never letting him go.

My breath cold with ash,
body covered with tears.

With a stranger that came,
he herd the name I whispered.

My eyes began to close,
my heart had an ache.

With the man he asked,
what do I tell him.

My only love should know,
I made a heart with my hands.

With a tear that just shed,
the man wiped it away.

My name I have forgot,
it is lost with time.

With a man by my side,
all he said was I know.
