A petal falls...

With a heart-felt sorrow;

I shed tears for tomorrow. 

I watch your beautiful petals curl;

I watch your colors fade;

And just like my hope, they fall away.

My mother, my fragile little Flower;

I can't begin to imagine this Garden without you.

Won't you stay here a little longer?

Withering as the hours pass;

Your lovely petals dance with time.

Tell me why the sun won't shine for you...

Your petals tremble in the wind;

As rain falls from the saddened sky.

Tell me why your seeds will cry for you...

Feeble little petals;

We'll rest you with your roots someday.

Don't leave me here alone;

please, don't go away...
