What if?

You have your life

Your own living style

Your ambitions to pursue

You laugh and smile

Your moods are yours

You watch what you like

And listen to music you fancy

Your clothes are your own choice

So are your shoes and shades of lipsticks

You are happy in your world

Unoccupied, unconquered, unbound

A princess in your little dwelling

My feelings

I keep restrained

I want to see you as you are

Happy

Never having known

How my affections could have changed

You, your life

There is so much I want to know

About you, my fascination

But never will

Hmmm....dearest friend....She still comes to cloud your mind? Come on man....she has moved ahead and so have you...dwell not on someone you had yet did not have...understood? So why remember the bygone days of bitterness ...though often interlaced with a tinge of sweetness...yet WHY?
Isn't your PRESENT better than your PAST?
Haven't you gained more than what you LOST?
Unlike me dearest friend, you have a life,
And a purpose to move on and conquer through strife...
Anyway, it WAS MOVING, SAD and SOMEWHAT A PUZZLE...a PARADOX I WOULD SAY...AS THE TITLE SAYS "WHAT IF"...I DO HOPE YOU GET THE MEANING OF WHAT I WANT TO CONVEY SUBTLY YET APTLY...A BEAUTIFUL POEM THOUGH....
Your friend/poet,
MUHAMMAD NAVEED AHMED/EMMENAY.
