Gliding on a catwalk

A heavenly figure

Igniting earthly emotions

An all-consuming fire

Chastity was once thy name woman

Starring virtually naked

Be it a movie or an advert

Playing on in estranged minds

The devouring desire unwinds

All in the name of liberation

Sexual, Physical freedom

Is this a paradox?

Subjugation

If only it is remembered

Thou Daughter of “Eve”

Who thou art?

First A Mother

A daughter, A wife

A Sister

Relations

Pious and pure

Chastity was once thy name woman

Alas all those eyes

That feed

On a pageant

Have no love, no affection

Only lust disguised

It all comes to an end

As thou cross the bend

Only then it dawns

It was all a charade

Frustration

Acts of hopeless desperation

No matter how loud

The denial

Deep in the core

Lies a soul in turmoil
