দিনের আলো যায় হারিয়ে
বৃষ্টিও হয় শেষ,
তোমার কথা মনের মাঝেই ঘোরে অহর্নিশ।
ফুল শুকে যায়, পাতা ঝরে যায়
দিনে দিনে কমে আয়ু
তবু দেখো হয়ে আছি কেমন উদ্বাহু।
চাড়া বাড়ে তা বড় হয় আর
সময়ে দ্যায় ফল
তোমার কথা মিছেই ভেবে ফেলা অশ্রুজল।
আচ্ছা মেয়ে, তোমারো ত
বয়স অনেক হলো
দাওনা ঢেলে শিরায় এবার মরণ কামড় গুলো।

The day disappears with twilight
And so the rain
You’re twitchin’ inside my sight!
Leaves dropping, flowers being dried
And lifetime gonna be end
Yet, see how I am clingin’ like hue.
Shrubs grow up day by day
And bears the fruit,
But I shed tears because of you!
Oh girl! Ain't you matured yet enough?
Long time has gone,
Now, lets rejoice under the shadow of love.
