Life works in such strange and funny ways,
Seems as if in the blink of an eye.
Sometimes when we aren't looking for true love,
It finds us and sends hearts soaring to the sky.
Mine found me in the month of May,
I turned around and suddenly he was there.
With those baby blues sparkling like starlight,
And those dimples that he always seems to wear.
I never knew a love quite like this one,
I always hoped I'd find it one day.
I'd all but given up and decided,
That being alone was my chosen way.
Along came this adorable bear of a man,
Towering above me at six foot six.
I feel so complete when I'm with him,
We make quite the interesting mix.
Paul, I'm so glad you found me,
You and I are a pretty great team.
You are just what I've been waiting for,
You are.....what I dream.
