Somewhere there is a place

Where sadness never comes

Tears of joy fall

Instead of showers

Of fear and depression

Somewhere in this life

There is a place

Where the heavy hand

Of anger

Does fall crashing

In my mind

There is laughter

There is peace

And there is contentment

Someday I will find this place

Someday I will never again

Have to raise my voice

In anger and pain

Never have to whisper

Tears of loneliness and fear

Some day I can almost feel it

Touch it

Then it is gone

Memories of better, warmer times

Being pieces of its soft breezes

To me

Time alone

With my love being

Glimpse of possibilities

I wish I could find it quickly

But I must wait

And be patient

Until it comes to me
