Now believe to be nothing more than myth; stories told by the mad and the elderly who use to speak of a time when the night skies would fill with burning lights and the sounds of ancient machines that ran on liquid power, driven by a race of people, long punished for crimes unknown, and erased from memory and accepted history. Tales were once spoken of a mythical place called the battle mile, where two races fought against each other; one who held onto the old ways and struggled for the right to exist, and one who sought to wipe out the remnants of the old world; to secure the dominance of the new age. These stories have long been unproven, and are taught as mythology in child education programs.
