MY OWN ENEMY

YOU HIDE BEHIND MY SHADOWS

EXPECT ME TO BAIL YOU OUT OF TROUBLE

YOU SLEEP WHEN ITS COMPLETE SILENCE

AND CREEP WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING

YOU CREATE NOTHING BUT, CHAOS

AND LEAVE ME TO CLEAN UP YOUR MESS

I'D BE DOING GOOD IF YOU WASN'T AROUND

I'D BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU WASN'T AROUND

I'D BE LOVED IF YOU WASN'T AROUND

BUT, I CAN'T JUDGE YOU AT ALL

BECAUSE, WHEN I LOOK INTO THE MIRROR

YOU ARE MY REFLECTION

WHICH MAKES ME MY OWN ENEMY

Hell yeah we are our own

Hell yeah we are our own worst enemies. I love this poem. It reminds me of me.
