Street lights turn on one by one 
I hope is running towards the light 
Tried to tell myself that freedom is your right 
Always restless 
Cant be helped in my life 
Disconnected from everybody tonight 
Trying to tell myself to get some sleep tonight 
Trying to tell myself this is not where I want to be 
My shadow does not show up 
The night time is close to my heart 
The emptiness will follow me till I fall apart 
My fears wont show me the light 
And my mind is about to lose 
You are still absent from my life '
But the truth is you were never mine to lose 
Wasting half of my life to get away from you
