How long can you watch my soul
Can you see through the dirt on the windows
Filthy from time and ill use
How long can you stand seeing ME
For what amount of time will you fight the urge to look away
To stop this conversation without words
To walk away from my problems
I didn't start this
But I'll finish it
Because I love your eyes
They hold a beautiful story
A blazing light with shades of darkness
A fire whose edges became ice
How long will you let me see inside you
How will you know I care
A flash for one second
Now nothing is there
