The day we met I knew we'd be together

Traveling down life's highway hand in hand

Yeah we added a few members to our journey

Its the detours we take now that I can't stand

So here we go again just like we used to

Traveling that old road  once again

yeah I got a different view now through this windshield

traveling loves lost highway till the end  

Now I look back at the miles we have traveled

And I'd given anything for you to stay

But when you said that you no longer loved me

I realized there was nothing left to say

Now we're out on that highway for the last time

And I struggle moving forward day to day

Yeah the road were on now is very different 

Because this road we're on is going separate ways
