I did not like
Many poets
And did I read
Finding few
Who spoke to me
But I found one
I really liked
And I saw him
Everywhere
He wrote poems
He wrote songs
He wrote books
Oh so many
Oh he did
Speak to me
Yet when I look
On poet lists
He name is never
There to see
He sold millions
And won awards
But some how
He is not to be found
Looking for poets
Who were good
There are lists
Where he won’t be found
As I look for
The poets of today
And his name
You will not find
Some how he is not
Someone to be named
