There are poems

     I shouldn’t write

Of things best

     Left unsaid

So I turn

     Words around

To make them safe

     For me to say

Words have meanings

     More than one

Can say very much

     That quite is unclear

So I can hide

     What I say

And say it

     Even if I should not

So if you think

     You understand

The words

That I say

Maybe you do

     Maybe you don’t

And of that I

     I will never say
