The places I keep in my heart,
you should see.
Wish this could be
a fresh start for me.
The dark corners of my mind,
Where I wanted no one to go,
The part I couldn't find
Now I openly let flow.
I have to get it out
before another moment's fled
'Cause it's hard for me to make up for
The words I never said,
All the things I need to be,
I refine within my soul.
God, please help me see
so I can shine and unfold.
All the times that's been wasted,
the days are turning so fast
and the bitter things I've tasted
made me learn from my past.
My questions came to thee
to see my deepest concerns
But it's a lesson meant for me,
and one I needed to learn.
