You can throw away your angry issues now,

And all the things that held you down,

There’s nothing left to take away now,

It’s already gone down.



And now you know the sound of my heart,

When it hits the wall and,

Now you know the sound of my life,

When it starts to fall apart…



I remember when we first met,

Everything felt so right,

You’d never get upset.

I remember when you’d laugh at what I say,

And we’d stare at each other,

I had never felt this way.



Now you’re gone,

And everything feels so wrong,

Why can’t it be like it used to be?



I remember the time you sat,

And told me all your secrets,

And how we’d stay on track,

And I’d be like your Jesus.

I remember when you told me,

This was a brand new start,

And shortly after that,

We started to drift apart,



I want my best friend back,

And I want this more than ever,

Even if you hated me,

I couldn’t hate you, not ever.

Cause you’re all that I had,
