I caught my eye on a crimson, red rose.
Out of them you stood out as one.
Her delicate, beauty stands out.
Her grey eyes focused by red, rimmed glasses seized my attention.
A fallen angel graced by heaven's, delicate touch.
I am compelled and drawn to this soft, spoken girl.
For it is this gorgeous girl,
That has the delicate loveliness of a rose.
Every quiet word, my heart she graced with her touch.
I long to spend a single moment, just one.
How can I get her attention?
Will I be struck out?
A leap of faith to take her out.
A sunny day to spend with this girl.
Our whimsical antics have everyones attention.
How we stuck out in a field of boring, weeds like a vibrant, rose.
Tis too soon to say she is the one.
I lead her through the crowded mall, hand in hand an excuse just to touch.
Her soft, fair skin a pleasant to touch.
Where will the winds take us on our day out?
A candle lit dinner at five hours past one?
It matters not! I will adventure everywhere with this girl.
A walk through the downtown lights, affection in the air rose.
Our random conversations "if you don't have ADD you're not paying attention"
With every word I am engrossed, focusing my attention.
She traces shapes on my hand with a shy touch.
She tells me tales of her past mistakes I tell her "there are thorns on every rose."
I pour out my feelings "that's it the cat's out!"
The feelings of how I feel about this girl.
By my side I want her to be the one.
The day's end we are one.
I have her attention.
I move in closer, and kiss this girl.
"Call that a kiss?" Just a peck or a touch.
The fun we had on our day out.
I leave her with a single red rose.
She rose and stood out as one.
Out of the blue she caught my attention.
To again feel the touch of this wonderful girl.
