Since I was born my mom always has had a knitting basket, the brown knitting basket is always full with yarns, crochet needles, and crochet magazines. In the couch that has always been in the living room my mother is always there, doing different crochet patterns. Since I was a little girl my mother made different quilts with different patterns. One quilt for every occasion and for every room, the black quilt for the living room, the pink quilt for my sister and I, the blue quilt for my brothers, the yellow quilt for my cousins. She even did clothes a crochet dress for my birthday party or a crochet coat for my sister, and for the most important occasion of the year a crochet sweater for all my brothers my father and my sister. We started to grow old but my mother kept doing all types of crochet patterns for quilts, dresses and sweaters. She is still in the same couch with the same brown knitting basket, the only things that are not the same are the yarns and magazines.
Every time we go to a crochet store she buys a yarn of every color and a magazine for every occasion. Now that my sister is married she sits in the couch and knits pink quilts and blue quilts for the future babies, my sister is not pregnant yet but if she does get pregnant she will not have to buy quilts for his babies because my mother is working on them. That goes for me too, when I have my children I will have all kind of quilts with different patterns and different colors. My mother never gets tired of that brown knitting basket and every time I sit next to her she wants me to learn how to do quilts, she even bought me my very own brown knitting basket with my very own yarns, crochet needles and magazines. One day I will learn how to knit so I can do the same things my mother made me, so that my kids will have their very own quilts, dresses and sweaters made by me, so that I teach the same things to my daughters and for them to do the same things to their children. Then I will have my own couch in my own living room with my own Brown knitting basket, and I will spent the evenings making stuff for my children.
