Burn Brightly

In twilight's gentle, hushed embrace they stand,

As candles bright, in virtuous hearts they burn,

Good people, selfless souls, a glowing brand,

To light the path for others in their turn.

Their waxen essence yields to flickering flame,

In sacrifice, their radiance they share,

Each night they kindle, whispering no name,

Yet in their humble glow, they banish care.

Their noble purpose, like a beacon's call,

Guides weary travelers through the darkling night,

As shadows dance, and earthly tempests fall,

The candle's gift, a refuge, shining bright.

But let us not forget the cost they bear,

For in their sacrifice, they fade away,

Yet in their light, we find a love so rare,

A testament to kindness every day.

So, let us cherish candles in our midst,

These souls who, selflessly, their love impart,

For in their gentle flames, we may persist,

And find the strength to kindle every heart.
