Way of sorrows"
He walked on the way of sorrows
that we may have better tomorrows
His body scurged, battered and used
beaten, broken and badly bruised
On the Via Dolorosa he stumbled
a King, once hailed, now humbled
Pain, he bore with amazing grace
the sorrow he wore upon his face
Son of God, Son of man, you died
and for you, all creation cried
Crucify Him, Cruciify Him they call
do they not know of their own fall!
He walked the way man had ought walk
took the sin upon his-self, and did not balk
