Silent Tears

Another teardrop falls silently and unseen

she remembers times past or what might have been

It is all too often the dye has been cast

remembering things that were once have now passed

She weeps in the silence's of the night

alone is she, casting thoughts, she sees into a distant light

Memories bring back the pain and fears

tears slipping softly as she looks back through the years

Faded dreams become a shadow now departed

forgotten are the hopes that they had when once they started

Love's joy washed away with tears of regret

live on in the happy memories, of times she will not forget

Another teardrop falls softly from her eyes

these are the lingering moments she cannot hide or disguise

With the light of the coming of the morn

she will smile again and erase her tears as she greets the dawn

Suzie:
This poem is written with so much feeling and deep emotions. The visualization in this poem is so beautifully displayed like the finest china on pure linen white. Can feel the deep love and intense sincerity in each stanza-in every word of this masterpiece. Thank you Suzi for sharing your beautiful work with me and please take care.

Regards,
