My Sir Knight
There is a man so soft and gentle
Who takes a mighty sword to fight
His Lady’s honour for to protect
From all that comes her way
He yields his sword, his lance, his heart
And at the feet of his Lady fair
He doth but bestow them there
For there the Knight will give his all
At just the softness of her call
And so this Knight so chivalrous and brave
Will give his Life, His Love, His Sword
To protect and serve His Lady’s Honour
When all my darkest fears and sorrows flow
When all the deepest hurts and pains and woe
When all the troubles of my life surround me
When all my life is nothing but strife
When pain and sorrow rule my life
You are this Knight, that protects my heart,
my body and my soul
You save me from the dragons and darkest night
You Honour me with your devotion and your love
You serve me with your sword and protect my life with yours
Whom shall I fear when you are near
You my Knight in shining armour shall come
You shall defeat all my ogres in one fell sweep
You are my Knight on your mighty stead
You are my Knight the one I need
You my Knight shall my saviour be
When enemies come my way to ruin my life
When foes come and try to destroy with strife
When strangers come to take and to steal
When fears come in and try to steal my joy
When vulnerability threatens to take all my peace
You My Knight shall come in like a flood and rescue me
You shall ride on my behalf with my favour on your lance
You My Knight shall take up my cause and fight till the end
You My Knight shall rise to my purpose and slay my enemies
You are My Knight that will come and take my heart for thine own
My Knight in shining amour bright, doth come
and meet his Lady fair
My Knight upon his great white stead shall ride off with his Lady indeed
And together they, the Knight and His Lady
shall forever be together
In love they shall stay, In peace they shall live,
and Joy shall be their fare
As only lovers can be, one for one, each to each, never more to part
