I don't need a star
on the top of my tree,
I have someone in heaven,
looking down on me.
She sticks by my side,
through morning and night,
If anyone comes too close,
she puts up a good fight.
When i start to cry,
She wipes away my tears,
she's been by my side,
through all these years.
You might think she was just a pet,
but I can bet,
that if you lost your best friend,
you'd feel like your life had come to an end.
I miss you so much,
it's like you're still with me,
