Creeping out with a devil's grin,
Like a cougar in the brush,
In their grip my fingers crush.
Stirring frost chills under skin,
Awareness striking from within,
Emotion steadfast to begin.
Inaudibly a mother's hush,
Soaked in waves of hot blood rush.
Pumping venom from heart to brain,
The dark and light side made the same,
Against which virtue begs restrain.
Take me now in dark embrace,
Cast intrinsic peace from grace.
Ready to lose and nothing to gain.
