Fantasy Woman

She was a treasure that I had found
When I had first looked around
The tangled world we shared together.
I held her as if she was a gentle ornament
Which would shatter if I pressed too tight.
She seemed celestial, perhaps heaven sent?
A vision in flesh that had become my view.
A loving flower that from love grew.

I often wondered why she stayed
When so many others have strayed
Away from my reaching images of love.
She was neither good nor bad,
Instead she was what she was and this
Was surely enough to keep me glad
Of her presence in my tumbled life.
Our passion became as brittle as a breath;
Our eyes ahead, not seeking a death.

We caressed the liberty of tomorrow
Oblivious to any thoughts of sorrow.
Her spirit meeting mine in fresh harmony,
Which differed from anything I felt before.
I knew I would stay with her, I would remain,
For as long as she would let me. And more,
I would surrender my soul unto her.
She was a vision of eternal delight,
A fantasy from many sleepless nights.

beautiful

I have to say this one so far is my favorite. It's gentle and full of what most people would describe as "indescribably" full of passion.
