Drum Beat
The group is happy, the kids are hopping
Giggles abound, percussion is popping.
The tempo is quick- the beat is fast paced.
As you can see, everyone is quite braced!
The drumming instructor's really rocking-
Reticent demeanours are unlocking
Drumming is thrumming throughout the high school-
Here is its heart, where wild cavemen now rule
Shaking and grooving and gyrating too.
So these are our roots? We'll prove that it's true!
I'm all for learning in this ancient way
So give me these drumming sessions each day!
