Evokes a deep ache in my heart,
Though this past year of trauma and tragedy
Has forged steel through fire, while apart.
Despite my strong reservations
I'll allow you back in my life.
Resolutely I'll meet all obligations
And resume being your wife.
In return I demand the same -
Devotion to our vows.
No more lies and no blame.
We shall live as marriage allows.
