The young brothers play in the park
Exuberantly.
They climb the wooden fort
Scaling its walls.
Triumphant, they duck behind the ramparts
Laughing at danger.
Running to the swings
Spraying shots of water wildly
From the hip
They vanquish lurking foes.
For what other reason
Is that metal structure over there
Than to be mastered?
A swift swarm
With grappling fingers and gripping toes
And voila.
Victory again.
Another successful day.
