In measured melody.
Take in the painted portraits
Of a united family
Looking out in winsome splendour.
View the stained glass panes-
The glowing ruby flower
And emerald leaves
In sweeping pattern
Casting their jewelled favours
Upon the papered wall
And polished maple floors.
Hear the mellow windchimes
Harmonizing through every room
In orchestrated tones.
Feel the warmth and love
Before you leave the house
To spend the day amongst the ordered steel and glass
Seaming the latest skyline.
