The wave gathers in the profound ocean
And rolls grandly across the sea,
Gaining rapidly in great momentum
To finally crash down heavily
Then it languidly gathers its trickles
And regroups its spent energies
To once again explode on the beaches
In a violent ecstacy.
The vast waters accumulate slowly
From the rivulets and from the streams,
Flowing in increasing intensity
As a silken cloth without seams.
From silver rain drops and crystalline flakes,
From dizzying water fall heights,
From every source and each experience
Are created seething delights.
From delicate shivers rippling across
The ocean's smooth unadorned skin
To crested riptide waves undulating
From whence all life forces begin
These convulsions seize the nearest moment
Dispelling all other events;
Rhythmic patterns responding to Nature -
Waves both absorbing and intense.
