On one side of the house,
The snow falls at its leisure-
Tickley tickley under there,
It is a giggly pleasure.
Out the other window-
Opposite side of the yard-
The wild and whirling winds
Drive white steel down hard.
Gentle snow, so pretty
On my side of the garden,
Delicately swirls in dance
Seeming to ask for pardon
As hammering hordes of flakes
Attack all exposed places
And well we know the outcome-
Winter of two faces!
