Oh I shall cheat the brooding bonds

That tie me to this life on Earth,

For I have found the secret key

That gives new meaning to life's worth.



With laughter now I greet the day,

I revel in all that it brings.

Ready to meet the challenges,

My spirit soars on eagle's wings.



Here's the secret: I love myself,

I love God and my fellow man.

I fill my heart with love and thus

Like attracts like- it is God's plan.



Away from Earth's worries and strains

I speed at the happiest pace.

Having expressed my thanks and praise

I'm ready to look on God's face.



Oh, I can shuck the brooding bonds

That tied me to misery here.

I sought to find the secret key

And I found it, so very near.
