Head throbbing,, pulse pounding,

Forehead hot - and weak,

Lights flashing, pain hurting-

Tears begin to leak.



Where is that pain killer?

I have killer pain!

I need it to stop now!

I'm going insane!



Head buried in pillows,

Blind pulled down so tight

That present is transformed

As day becomes night.



And the stuff of nightmares

Comes galloping in,

Hooves tearing and pounding-

An internal din!



Internal, infernal -

In truly infers

That it's Hell in my head

When this pain occurs.



Where is that pain killer?

I have killer pain!

I need it to stop now!

I'm going insane!
