There is a four-letter word

That I do not often say.

Sometimes it seems the only one

To express things the right way.

It's rare for me to say this

And only if its extreme

For I usually remain calm-

At least that is how I seem.

But every once in a while

Things build up to a high peak-

Then the only word I can use

Is one I really don't seek.

If you hear me yell this word

Know that I've reached my rope's end,

So make allowances for me

"Cos I really need a friend!
