As the sunshine pours over my garden
Gently awakening its new blossoms
I raise my eyes to the far blue heavens,
Marvelling at their clear sincerity.
The pink blooms covering my apple tree
Slowly unfurl their petals in curved smiles,
Happily opening themselves to life,
Safe and secure in the warm beams of light
And I trustingly hold my arms out wide
Exposing my heart to this zone of peace,
Sure those rays of loving heat will melt through
Any shell to coax new growth to emerge.
