October's full moon is not a violent hunter's

moon but a peaceful harvest moon

celebrating gifts God in gardens

has grown.

Less than 5% of our population

stalk and terrorize mammals and

birds in the woods, crucifying

them with sharp arrows or

blasting at them with guns.

Nor is there a hunter green.

If hunters want a color

it should be red

for murder and bloodshed.
