Valentine, Nebraska

is the home of Debra Fischer,

Republican senator, who has

a cattle ranch there. Fischer

supports the death penalty,

both for human prisoners and for

the captive cows on her ranch.

There are no scarlet valentines

for her cows, only the shedding

of their red blood.

God call her and us all to end

all forms of violence on our planet.

Give all of us grace to protect rather

than harm our brother and sister human

beings, animals, birds frogs and bees

vines bushes and trees.
