often clipped so that she cannot move the hive to a place of her choosing, and that
some beekeepers (bee jailers) let the bees starve in winter by removing all the honey the bees gathered. They are a metaphor for factory workers who slave for minimum wage while
their labor makes plutocrats billionaires.
