EGRETS' SHADOWING WINGS
Fish shiver in the shadowing
wings of egrets
but guinea pigs have more time
to hide from eaglets
while elephants jailing poachers
have no regrets

SHAPESHIFTING SHADOWS
The breeze in the trees
shapeshifts the shadows of the
shy shade and its leaves
*
UNSILENT SHADOW
Silently silken
shadows slide
though their
parent leaves
are noisily
rustling in the wind.
SHADOW BLOCK
Walking west with
the sun rising
from the eastern horizon
... my own shadow
blocking me
.... but not for long
... but not for long

QUIET SHADOW
The child played hide and seek
and did not utter a peep
but her irrepressible shadow
out from behind the woods did leap
SHADOW BRAVERY
I hid behind the wall
but my shadow.. more
courageous.. showed herself
SHADOW PLAY
The One Godsun
creates in all His creation
the infinite
play of the shadows
of desire
.. the dance of lovefire
Are we all attracted
to the varying forms
of the One in the many.
RAINSHADOW
There are no
shadows cast
by falling
rain
but sad are
dry rainshadow
terrains
like saplings
blocked from
light by
massive trees
or children of
busy parents
who don't have
time to give love.
SHADOWING
In the woods the fright
from the darkness of night
with each tree's shade and shadowing
until realizing one
is ever neath
the Shadow of His Wings
SHADOWMERGE
Before they ever
touched each other
their shadows
had merged.

SHADOW AND SHADE
As sun's shining is blocked
by shadows and shade
so the souls' intrinsic joy
is by sadness betrayed
*

NOT THE SHADOW
Satanic accusers
see only the shadow.
God sees only
each being's light.
LOVE IS NOT A SHADOW
We will find
when passed has time
that no love
has ever been lost.
Love is not a dark
shadow but an aura
which will never leave.

ORANGE HAS A SHADOW
In meditation these words
came
"orange has a shadow"...
Did it mean
a. leaves beneath oranges
on tree get less light
b. insecticides in the
citrus fruit industry
c. a monk pretending
to be celibate
d. someone like Dr Kasturi
ever near his guru
e. Chinese agents
shadowing the Dalai Lama
and other Tibetan Buddhist
sannyasis.
f. A few days after posting this,
the writer put 2 oranges behind
the driver's seat of her car, thoughtlessly.
They rolled to the front brake.
God's grace prevented an accident.
