Who has programmed West Virginia and
Pennsylvania coalminers
into self destructive support for coal.
They die of emphysema, black lung,
mine explosions and caveins. Their streams
are poisoned, their air polluted. Their
jade mountaintops full of trees are turned
into mudpiles by mountaintop mining. Their
animals are killed in dynamite explosions
and habitat destruction. Their homes
have layers of black coal dust on curtains
and clothes. Their xrays are falsified
by Johns Hopkins in league
with coal company owners.
Wind power takes
much less energy, and costs
1/2 as much.
