Gay Proposition
A gay friend knew it was less wise
to proposition strangers.
Sometimes he received anger.
At other times he harvested actual physical violence.
Often it would be
indifference
but once, he told me, the man
had replied "Don't take offense,
but that particular orifice of mine
is a one way street, only for
egress, not ingress.'
