Thoughts on the NY Times promotion of hunter, animal eater Steve Rinella
in February 2022:
For at least 45 years, hunters have never exceeded more than 4% of the
population. It is incorrect for the Times to say 95% of the population are
animal flesh eaters. 5% are vegetarian in the US. An additional 2% are
vegan. There are pescatarians who eat suffocated fish but not mammals nor
birds. It is also erroneous for the Times to write that Rinella 'eats what he
kills'. The correct grammar is "He eats whom he killed."
Hunters are '97% white, 90% male' and more conservative than average.
Another hunter, this one a serial killer of trophy animals, is Donald Trump Jr
who has been enabled by his father's money to buy property, put 5 tree stands on it, require the Secret Service, funded by citizen taxes, to traipse
around after his and his brother's killing spreeds in other countries including illegally slaughtering an endangered sheep in Mongolia. Trump Jr
said he wants to 'embrace toxic masculinity'.
The deforesting Times is one cause of climate extremes. It has not spent its profits to develop nonviolent paper from corn husks, coconut shells, banana peels, leaves, manure etc. There is only one side in the long Times article, no discussion of the agony of the terrorized physically suffering animals, nor of over 100 diseases caused by animal flesh (cancers, heart disease, strokes, food poisoning, arthritis, dementia etc), the devastating environmental destruction and deforestation created by animal agriculture, the energy waste (many years ago Dr Don Meyer wrote that a pound of meat takes 80 times more energy than a pound of fruit.. it is more than that now), the world hunger as meat yields a maximum of 100 to 6000 per acre while
fruit and nut trees with trilevel agriculture can yield 450,000 pounds per acre. Between 1/2 and 1.1 cow per acre can live off of average pasture.

Rinella's next book. There is great negative karma generated by advocacy
of slaughterhouse products to millions of people. Anthony Bourdain who
spent decades eating gross and unusual animal parts for a vast audience
killed himself.
Steve Rinella said he ate parasite-infected bear meat and got toxoplasmosis. He was as a teen 'trapping muskrats and beavers in icy lakes with friends or shooting squirrels out of oak trees with his dad.' Those muskrats and beavers drowned, a hideous death. After New Jersey Governor Corzine banned bear hunting, Chris Christie brought it back. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who continues the savage clubbing death of seals, the
destruction of millennial trees in Canada's Western provinces, and the facilitation of Canadian cow slaughter, is also a shill for the grisly killing of Canadian grizzlies. Clay Newcomb publishes
a magazine for those who murder bears. In his next life, who knows, he
might be a hunted animal, if the world has not yet evolved away from
barbarism.

The FBI profiles and searches for serial killers of humans. and has found that most were taught by a hunter or farmer to kill animals or by a member of the military to kill human beings. There are serial killers of animals, called trophy hunters. Their violence frequently spills over onto humans as well. Yet the Safari Club has been allowed to fund Rally Forge or other projects in
which those whose work to protect animals from slaughter are targeted.
In 2019 in an interview in Rolling Stone, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated that there was a year when Facebook's centibillionaire Mark Zuckerberg was only eating animals he killed and had a penchant for goat meat. Supposedly he would stun goats with a taser, cut their throat with a knife & send their bodies to a butcher to prepare.
