was very pissed off 
and thereafter
spelled
therapist as
the-rapist

SHE KNOWS ALL CARDS

Because she will

or betray trust,

All fields are overmown but
No field overgrown
No bloom overblown
No bird overflown
No love overknown

CONDEMNED ADORATION
*
Condemned was his adoration
and was judged adulation
*
PURPLE VEINS
*
She had been drinking
heavily and arrived
at the restaurant ....
discovering there were
purple veins visible in
the fried fish she'd ordered
she threw the fish onto
the floor of the restaurant
aisle. Like human beings re

leg veins, she liked the veins
in fishes' flesh she exploited
covered. She disliked reminders

of their death,

HUNTER SHOT

The news today carried a story of a
Northeast Ohio man shot in the face
while hunting turkeys... shot by another
hunter.  Turkeys shot in the face
are not deemed important enough to make
the news.

MIXED MESSAGE

The puppy was trained
to bark... but
his wagging tail
gave a mixed message.

MIXED BLESSING

The local newspaper
gave space to a blessing
of the animals... by a pastor..
but made no mention of the fact that
 these animals were lambs torn from
their mothers and
slaughterhouse-bound...
a national park had ejected
a humane society from national park
land but invited in more than one
animal slaughter operation.

OPPOSITION TO JAPAN OLYMPICS

The Japan
 of embroidered fans
Maker of ivory
and turtle shell pins...
 .. eater of whales
 and shark fins
 knifer of
 mammalian dolphins
Each country has its own list

of animal atrocities

TEDDY BEAR

As Theodore Roosevelt is remembered
for a teddy bear,

he one cub
he saved more than the hundreds
he murdered...
so God multiplies our good
and erases our errors after lessons are learned..

COMMUNION FOR ANIMALS

Her communion for animals
was judged aberration
by those with fixed views
of what is adoration
