a manuscript in her hands keeps her from jumping
Interpretation:
a. material attachments keep someone from suicide
b. desire keeps one from merging in the ocean of God

a golf club threatens to smash a wedding ring
(wife contemplating divorce over
lack of time with her mate)

Vision of a hill whose top center was
a volcanic recess from blowing its top
.. now a ravine full of blackberry bushes...
Interpretation:
(anger has metamorphosed into thickets which produce
berries and are a refuge for small mammals and birds)
