TALON

The talon of the ascended scorpio
master..

it is unable to hook
the unbounded seas
nor to cage
the uncaged wind

nevertheless because
they love her
they serve her wishes

that she may sooner
wish to be off
of the rack known
as the zodiac wheel..

MONEY PROBLEMS OF MOZART AND VAN GOGH

.. no
stress discordant
interfered with the
chords of Mozart
nor did depressing
grays spill into Van Gogh's art

FULL BLOWN

A bud smells not as as sweet
as a rose fullblown
whose fragrance magnetizes bees to
her softpetaled throne

a heart inclosed
and tightly wrapped
does not with love pour

GARDENER

She loves flowers
and she hates trees..
she cuts down the
creators of the breeze

KIND LANDLORD

He owns a big apartment
complex by the woods
and has put ladders
in the dumpsters that
the raccoons not
be trapped inside

WINTER WATERFALL

Forgiving water
flows past
resentful ice
frozen in the past.

EMPTY SWING

It is because the swing is empty
of unconscious tread
that many blooms can safely
grow in wild beds.
The children are grown

BUTTERCUPS AND SUNFLOWERS

Buttercups and sunflowers
not shade framed and shy
but full open
to the sun in the sky

RIDICULOUS SCARECROW

That noisy old crow
laughs at the scarecrow
knowing God corn grows
not just for farmers
but for sparrows and crows

THE BALLOON POPS

The balloon pops
The air is set free.
The candle burns away.
The heat is set free.
What happens to the body
sets the soul free

SHAPESHIFTING SHADOWS

The breeze
in the trees
shapeshifts the shadows
of the shade and the leaves

GAGGLE OF GEESE

a gaggle of geese
a giggle of girls
a goggle of skiers
a guggle of runners
a google of truth-gaggers

SNOWFLAKES DRIFT INTO CHASMS

Snowflakes drift into chasms...
in springmelt, a seed
scattered long ago sprouts..
into a sapling
... in the same way
heartaches' holes heal...
the faster we learn
they are the karmic echoes of
wounds we have caused to others
the faster we become whole

ETERNAL SUN

Eternal sun
forgiving all
shedding his light
on unreceiving stones

RAINBOW METAMORPHOSIS

When the rainbow faster twirls
gone the pastels' light
for it becomes a laser
beam of blazing white

VEGAN

Factory farm chickens... each egg taking a 32 hour sentence in chicken jail..
a box 3 feet by 1 feet..crammed with 6 to 9 chickens
debeaked so they won't peck each other to death

ecoli.. colon bacteria... from their being forced to live in their own waste
... freezing to death in metal sheds when the electricity goes out..
In the slaughter truck one can see their broken wings and necks
flapping in the wind..

MOTHER CAT
