Weaving Angels' Wings

WEAVING ANGELS' WINGS

A mother with prayers

which constantly weave

a canopy of angel's wings

to protect her soldier

son..

from being harmed

or causing harm

BLUELIGHT SEA

All beings swim

in the bluelight seas

of God's joy

May its

gentle waves lull

my honeycomb mind to sleep

as into my soul

I allow them to seep

May they pour into

my mind's honeycomb

from my heart

.. stilling her buzz..

.. May I be the teabag

which in the teawater

steeps

The windseas

of God's joy

surround all beings

May they oer me sweep

for my soul is awake

when my body sleeps

May peace come ticking

slow..

May peace come dripping

  slow

May peace on clouds float

May peace in rivers flow

SUMMONING ANGELS

Selfless angels

summoned by unspoken

need

answer the prayer

and expand or contract

time

as you will

WORDBLOCKS

How long will

this aspiring poet

play wordblocks

on the shore

rather than

enter

the Sea of God

DRAGONFLY MOVEMENTS

As airplanes circling and then lining up,

iridescent black and blue dragonflies

circle.. and then in linear fashion

land one after another on a branch

..

the way angels (infinite numbers

of whom can be on the head of a pin)

send thoughts to

the head of a pen

SEAGULL FORMATION

all the seagulls

were standing in

attention

facing the afternoon sun

Author's Notes/Comments:

* a teabag not made
of stolen tealeaves

From a Buddhist stotra:
the heartwood of the
Bodhi tree

Witness my thoughts..
how undisciplined they
goad me into action..
let me watch as they
rise and fall in the
ocean of my soul

about a clock ticking
