Baba whispered to me this morning
as I reentered Mother Earth's moorings

"Slow Ma"

Perhaps He was saying
that mothering is a slow patient
accepting unconditional process

or that the mothers of adults
are getting older and require
more of our love

or perhaps He was mentioning
SLO's cataract operation.. and prayers
for her..

Usually each of the the infinite
interpretations
of His koans..
is light from a different angle
of the multifaceted jewel of
truth
