around those who align to omnipotent resolve

Over a summer God turned the soundless dew
into juice of lime. Long ago in an instant Jesus turned water
into wine. Now in a moment the Higher Power of the surrendered
alcoholic turns wine.. back into water.

Let me not eat the fortune within the cookie nor the mango's seed
.. nor through indiscipline fork myself in the heart

He never takes no for an answer He mines for love
with a diamond drill.. His endurance is an act of will
*
Grace and hope the parents of will There are no walls Where there is will.
DOUSING WAND, LIGHTNING ROD
The dousing wand
will's aligned spine
The lightning rod
the power of straight line
Conductor's baton
With the grace of God
I shall
find the water,
invoke the lightning,
attract the music
and summon angels' aid.

The wind's storm fury

EVERY EVENING IN THE EAVES
Every evening
in the eaves
hear birds sing
the song of Eve
SAPLING PROLIFIC
The brave little
2 year old maple
sapling.. struggling
for life and water in
the midst of nonwaterers,
has produced more samara
seedlings per leaf than
many decades old trees.

SQUASH BLOSSOMED VINE
Two months ago
fell her vine
.. nothing round which
herself to entwine
.. her stained glass
window leaves..
too heavy to continue
her climb
They are the servants
of green snaking serpent
bejeweled with
gold trumpet flowers
which
like openhanded fingers
stretch to the air
Elsewhere begins
the closehanded
fruit..
Last month she
came to a high brick wall
.. which blocks others
but helps her again to climb
GENERAL
The pillars of the old Roman
aqueduct remained...
but could not carry water..
.. The trunks of the dead
tree can no longer bend to the wind
like a general with will
not to love
