Freedom in a corporate
ruled state in which
costs are always rising
and the gap between
billionaires and the poor
is ever widening
is impossible.
A Jamaican Commission's call for the decriminalization of pot,
which is a sacrament to the Rastafarians, has drawn criticism
from the US government, which has a vested financial interest
in the illegal status.
While pot can sear the lungs, cause blood to pool in the heart,
and create traffic danger, the latter has a tiny fraction
of the fatalities annually attributed to alcohol caused traffic
accidents.
Pot smokers cite

pot users around the world

. still others say the US government role with Cointelpro
in heavy drug distribution in the ghettos as documented by
a series in the San Jose Mercury shows it cannot be objective.
. Where pot is free there is less crime.
Normal is one of many groups working to end decriminalization,
and Mr Lewis, owner of Progressive Insurance, has given 6 million
to the ACLU to fight repressive pot laws.
